Say hello to Claudia!
My story
I grew up in Thames Ditton, in Surrey. After school I studied Ancient History at King's College London, which taught me how to read sources closely, build an argument and tell a story that holds together. Then I headed to Milan for a Master's in Economics & Management at Bocconi University, and Milan is where I'm based now.
I've been tutoring for more than eight years, and I've learnt a lot about what helps students feel confident. Speaking two languages helps too: I'm a native English speaker and fluent in Italian (C2), so I know what it's like to learn something new from the ground up.
Because I'm in Milan, my lessons are all online, and that turns out to be a good thing. I teach students all over the UK, from Surrey and London to wherever you happen to be, using live video and a shared whiteboard.
What I care about most is simple: lessons should be fun, useful and a bit lighter than you'd expect. When learning feels enjoyable, students build on what they can already do, and walk into their exams feeling ready.

How I teach
My aim is a fun and enthusiastic service that's good for the student and enjoyable to take part in, so you can build on your abilities and sit your exams with confidence. In practice, that means:
-
Enjoyable first
A relaxed, upbeat lesson is where the best learning happens. Questions are always welcome, and so are mistakes.
Mistakes welcome here.
-
Built around you
Every plan starts with the student: their school course, their pace and the dates that matter.
-
Build on strengths
We start from what you can already do and grow from there, one step at a time.
-
Ready for exam day
Practice questions, exam technique and calm, clear routines, so nothing about the big day feels like a surprise.
Why "Cloudia"?
It started as a bit of wordplay: Cloudia is Claudia with a cloud tucked inside. Clouds are light, a little bit playful and always above us, which brings us to our motto:
The sky's the limit.
That's me!
That's what I believe about every student I teach. And you'll meet our cloud friend all around the site.
Online, wherever you are
All lessons are online, so I can teach students anywhere in the UK, including Thames Ditton, Surbiton, Kingston, Esher, Cobham and across Surrey and London. All you need is a laptop and an internet connection.
