Physics

Online Physics tutoring for KS3 and GCSE

Forces, energy and circuits, minus the head-scratching.

One-to-one, live online with a shared whiteboard, and built around what you're studying at school. Taught by Claudia, from KS2 up to GCSE.

  • KS2 · Years 3 to 6
  • KS3 · Years 7 to 9
  • GCSE · Years 10 and 11
What we cover
  • KS2: primary science topics on forces, light, sound and electricity.
  • KS3: forces and motion, energy, electricity and magnetism, waves, matter, and space.
  • GCSE (as part of Combined Science, or as a separate Physics GCSE): energy, electricity, the particle model, atomic structure and radioactivity, forces, waves, magnetism and electromagnetism, and space (in Physics GCSE). We also practise rearranging equations and reading graphs.
Typical goals
  • Feel at ease with equations and rearranging them
  • Understand what a graph is really saying
  • Explain concepts in words, not just numbers
  • Prepare for required practicals and exam-style questions

What a lesson might look like

Series and parallel circuits. Claudia draws a circuit on the shared whiteboard, the student predicts the readings, then we check using V = I × R and talk through why the numbers behave the way they do. Then the student draws the next circuit themselves.

An example to show the flavour of a lesson. Every lesson is shaped around the student.
