Biology

Online Biology tutoring for KS2, KS3 and GCSE

From cells to ecosystems, made clear.

One-to-one, live online with a shared whiteboard, and built around what you're studying at school. Taught by Claudia, from KS2 up to GCSE.

  • KS2 · Years 3 to 6
  • KS3 · Years 7 to 9
  • GCSE · Years 10 and 11
What we cover
  • KS2: primary science topics on plants, animals, humans and living things.
  • KS3: cells, body systems, health, photosynthesis and respiration, reproduction, ecosystems, inheritance and evolution.
  • GCSE (as part of Combined Science, or as a separate Biology GCSE): cell biology, organisation, infection and response, bioenergetics, homeostasis, inheritance and variation, ecology, plus the required practicals.
Typical goals
  • Understand the ideas, not just memorise them
  • Write strong answers to longer "explain" questions
  • Handle graphs, data and practical questions with confidence
  • Feel calmer about big topics like genetics and homeostasis

What a lesson might look like

We work through the osmosis practical: draw the set-up, predict what the graph will do, calculate the percentage change in mass, then explain the result in a full-sentence answer. Same steps, new numbers, until it feels easy.

An example to show the flavour of a lesson. Every lesson is shaped around the student.
