Online Chemistry tutoring for KS3 and GCSE
Atoms, equations and calculations that finally click.
One-to-one, live online with a shared whiteboard, and built around what you're studying at school. Taught by Claudia, from KS2 up to GCSE.
- KS2 · Years 3 to 6
- KS3 · Years 7 to 9
- GCSE · Years 10 and 11
- KS2: primary science topics on materials, changes of state and everyday reactions.
- KS3: particles, elements, compounds and mixtures, acids and alkalis, chemical reactions, the periodic table, and the Earth and its atmosphere.
- GCSE (as part of Combined Science, or as a separate Chemistry GCSE): atomic structure and the periodic table, bonding, quantitative chemistry and moles, chemical changes, energy changes, rates and equilibrium, organic chemistry, chemical analysis, and the atmosphere and resources.
- Balance equations without panic
- Crack moles and other calculations step by step
- Connect the "what" to the "why" for each topic
- Make the periodic table feel like a friend
What a lesson might look like
We take one calculation type, such as finding moles from mass, and build it up line by line on the whiteboard: write what you know, pick the formula, rearrange, check the units. Then a few similar questions to practise, each with a little more twist.
An example to show the flavour of a lesson. Every lesson is shaped around the student.
Let's balance this.
You've got this.
